Hi, I restored mid century fireplaces and have come to acquire a beautiful brass free standing fireplace. The cone is solid brass, however the pipes are plated. I’m interested in removing the tarnish and achieving the same finish as on the cone, which has horizontal lines (not sure the name of different types of finish). Obviously, I don’t want to remove the plating.
I have pics but not sure how to upload on this forum
Any help would be amazing
thanks
