Jesse,

Removing powder coating from hooks, racks, fixtures and rework is very easy and safe using our REMOVE 9000 Powder Coat Dissolver liquid. Simply immerse your parts into the REMOVE 9000 remover solution and wait until the coating is completely dissolved away without adversely affecting the base substrate, all metal safe and No-Methylene Chloride.

Usually requires about 15 minutes to remove 1-3 mils TGIC and a couple of hours at room temperature to dissolve Epoxy powder away. Strip time is bsed on total cured powder film build and type of powder to be removed. Parts shape makes no difference in an immersion process.

Please note that this product is specially formulated to remove only powder coat, auto-deposition and air cured coatings and adhesives.

For OEM Auto rims use our MILES 8648 heated immersion stripping solution.

Hello all,

I just bought PERMATEX paint stripper to remove powder coating. The instructions said : “wait for 5-10 minutes and the use putty knife to remove the paint” The problem is, my powder coated area was curvy and have holes, so it was kinda hard to remove the residue (the sticky rubber-like paint)  using putty knife.Do you guys have any recommendation to this?

Please help.

I did not find the right solution from the internet.
